Profile
Steeped in history and heritage, Woodstock is a picturesque market town in Oxfordshire, divided by the River Glyme. Home to the magnificent Blenheim Palace - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and the grave of Sir Winston Churchill, the town also boasts a vibrant mix of local amenities, including characterful pubs, fine restaurants, and boutique shops.
This thriving area is popular among visitors and a much sought after place to live, reflected in current property values for Woodstock. Just eight miles north of Oxford, the town is conveniently located and boasts good transport links. London is within easy reach too, with Long Hanborough station serving London Paddington, and the new station at Oxford Parkway offering a daily service to London Marylebone.
Although Woodstock is famous for its Grade II listed properties - think 300 year old terraced cottages in the town centre - it also has a wide range of other houses for sale and flats to rent.
